A. No, Simply Smooth Keratin is a temporary smoothing system that will last for approximately 12 to 16 weeks and will leave the hair naturally over time without leaving a regrowth line.
Q. How does this treatment differ from a thermal (Japanese) Straightener?
A. There is no thio or lye chemical in the product. Therefore no risk of chemical damage to the hair.
Q. Does this product contain Formaldehyde?

Q. How long is the Simply Smooth Treatment process?
A. For the Simply Smooth Original Formula keratin treatment the process will take a minimum of 2 hours depending on the length and volume of your hair, please see the other keratin treatments available within the Simply Smooth Collection as completion times do vary.
Q. If I overlap previously processed hair, will there be breakage?
A. No. Simply Smooth is a natural and gentle pure keratin based product that will enhance the condition and strength of your hair.

Q. Can I still color or highlight my hair with this treatment?
A. YES! In fact, you can complete both services on the same day.However if you decide to have a Simply Smooth Keratin Treatment a few days after receiving your colour service it is recommended to wait 10 days between services to allow your colour to settle.
Q. How soon can I shampoo or wet my hair?
A. You must wait a minimum of 3 days for the Simply Smooth Original Formula Keratin Treatment unlike the Mini Xpress,Colour Lock and Touch of Keratin where you only need to wait 24 hours to allow the hair to rest and the keratin to cure within the hairs structure before washing your hair for the first time after your treatment.See Keratin Treatments available.
Q. How often can I have the Simply Smooth Treatment services?
A. As often as every four weeks, if desired.
Q. Does the treatment have to be applied by a professional hairdresser?
A. Yes,all salons that provide the Simply Smooth Keratin Treatment service are thoroughly trained Simply Smooth technicians that will ensure the keratin product is applied and sealed evenly throughout the hair, guaranteeing the longevity of your treatment with the recommended take home maintenance products. However Touch of Keratin may be applied at home and sealed into the hair with your regular 210 degree straighteners.
Q.Can I have any of the keratin treatments if I am pregnant or nursing an infant?
A. NO, Even though the formula is registered a safe formaldehyde free product the manufacturers of Simply Smooth would recommend not to complete a keratin treatment under these circumstances as the product has not been tested on pregnant women or infants.
